Ibis Exie Scholarship

Do you want to get sponsored? Are you a junior XC racer based in Washington State?

This is your chance! Ibis gave me an extra SIZE LARGE Exie to build up, and I wanted to pay it forward. I'll pick one lucky rider to race an Ibis Exie for the Washington Student Cycling League season (or other XC races) and build it up with parts support from Fanatik Bike Co and Fox Factory. 

Submit an application video on Instagram and tag @jankyeric and @ibiscycles, explaining who you are and what your goals are in mountain biking. OR if you're feeling shy, you can submit a YouTube link or written application via the form below. Bonus points if you can explain how you give back to your local bike community.

Submissions are open now! (April 1st 2025) and I'll be announcing the winner on April 11th so that the winning rider can get the bike in time for the first WSCL race at Fort Steilacoom on April 13th. 

Other details:

• The ideal candidate is based in the PNW, so I can deliver the bike. 
• The frame is a SIZE LARGE Ibis Exie so the ideal candidate is 5ft 7in to 6ft 2in. 
• The bike may be built with different parts with similar specs. Fox shock and fork will be "performance 34SL", etc., but will be similar in spec/weight to the build shown.
• I will coordinate with the winner to install a properly sized stem, handlebar, seatpost etc. 
• The bike will be a loan for the WSCL season, but an extended loan will be considered after that based on stoke level and other race goals.
